How can I get ready for the shoot?

Hot Dinosaur will send you a pre-shoot checklist, and when you receive it, we can schedule an appointment by phone to go over any questions you may have.  However, the very most important thing to think about is your answer to the following question:  What makes your business stand out from the competition?

What will my video shoot be like?

On the day of your scheduled shoot, an expert from Hot Dinosaur will arrive at the scheduled time for your video shoot.  Here is what you can expect:

A.  We will start with a quick consultation, and go over the Pre-shoot checklist you’ve already filled out.  Then we will need you sign release forms for your location and get released from anybody who will be seen on the video.

B. Next we will check your location for interesting visuals, and also the best spot to film the interview portions of the video.  At this point, we will bring in the necessary lighting and audio equipment.

C. After the interview, we will shoot you in action at work, and also film various parts of your business.  Our goal here is to find visual support for the things you discussed during the interview.

What happens after you shoot the video?

In most cases, your video will be ready for review less than 14 business days after your video shoot.  You’ll receive an email from us with a link to a site where you can view your video online.  Once you watch the video, you can email approval.  Or, if you would like to change something on the video, give us a call, and we’ll discuss what you would like changed.  We will follow up with an email discussing the change request.  You have three rounds of edits to get everything just right.  If for some reason we don’t hear from you after 10 days, we’ll deliver your video, and post it online.  We’ll do our best to accommodate your desires, but certain requests such as re-shooting scenes, or special effects, will result in an additional charge.  Once you have approved your video, we’ll provide you or your web designer the video so you can post it on your website.  Or, for an additional fee, the web team at Hot Dinosaur will do it for you.  Additionally, we can post it to the various sites like YouTube, Facebook and Vimeo to help get your business maximum exposure, then match your video to your Google Places listing.

Are there other way I can use my video?

In addition to the exposure you will get from the free online sites, we believe it is crucial to add your video to the website.  So if you haven’t already added it to your website, you’ll want to put it on your home page.  Of course, there are other places you can put video on your site, but the home page placement will create the best results for your company.
